Staci Evans Office Administrative Secretary

Our staff spotlight this month is on Mrs. Staci Evans. As our new administrative secretary you will be seeing a lot of her as we head into the new school year. Mrs. Staci, however, is not a new face on campus as she came on staff last year to teach 8th grade keyboarding and as a staff floater.
Mrs. Staci grew up in Pontotoc where she graduated from South Pontotoc Attendance Center and Itawamba Community College. When speaking of her career she says, "I've worked in banking most of my life, at first dealing with the public then moving behind the scenes in the Accounting Department. I made the move to Hinds Community College 6 years ago to be closer to my childrens' activities so that I could be more involved. Coming to Central Hinds Academy in 2023 was an unforeseen opportunity that I'm grateful for."
Mrs. Staci is married to Bart Evans who is the Chief of Police at Hinds Community College. They have two daughters Rilee and Ramsee. Rilee is a sophomore at Mississippi College and Ramsee is a senior here at CHA. When asked about her free time she says, "My family and I attend Pinelake Church in Clinton, MS. All our spare time for as long as I can remember has revolved around our girls and their sports (basketball and softball). My husband officiates football, baseball, softball, and basketball as well. Clearly sports is a huge part of our lives!"
When asked about her time at CHA, she says, "Last year was my first year teaching at CHA. I loved being in a role where I bounced around campus and got to know students of all ages from 3K-Seniors. Every day brought something new. This school year will bring new responsibilities I've yet to uncover. I'm looking forward to an exciting year!" We all know Central Hinds is a special place. Staci believes "Leadership is key! I feel the administration strives to be great leaders supporting their faculty, staff, and students. The family atmosphere that surrounds you at CHA is a wonderful feeling."
We are so blessed to have Mrs. Staci as part of our staff at Central Hinds Academy. Please be in prayer for her as she works diligently to make our school "A Great Place to Learn" every day.
