The Science National Honor Society needs your help! Any student (or staff!) donating $3 gets to wear a Christmas sweater, and anyone donating $5 gets to wear a Christmas sweater and jeans Monday, December 12. Money raised will go to help support the Dampeer Family! Thank you for supporting the SNHS!
We are so grateful for all of those that participated in our "Be a Santa to a Senior!" We partnered with Home Instead to gather gifts for senior citizens in our community.
A huge thank you to Pastor Arthur Bridges from Greater Pearlie Grove Missionary Baptist Church for speaking to our secondary students during Cougars for Christ. We all needed the reminder to not forget our faith no matter what situation or environment in which we find ourselves.
Congratulations to Travis Lord and Hayes Kilby for placing in the Hinds County Farm Bureau Essay Contest and receiving a cash reward. Hayes placed 1st in his division, and Travis placed 2nd in his division. We are so proud of you and your hard work!
Mrs. Jenny's and Mrs. Dede's 3K students had special guests come and read to them today. Thank you to our 6th graders for taking the time to spend with the younger classes.

We are incredibly proud of Brayden Bullock and Sam McCoy who represented CHA Football in the MAIS Futures Game alongside the brightest prospects in the association.
The Elementary Christmas Music Program will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
K3-6th grade will perform that night. All students should wear a red shirt and blue jean bottom. The shirt does not matter so long as it is mostly red. Students should be in the gymnasium by 6:00 p.m.
The 7th grade live nativity will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The senior class is selling pulled pork dinners for $10 each. Dinners will be served beginning at 5:30. Those order forms are due December 1st.
We would love for everyone to come and hear our message that Jesus Christ is born!

How are you giving back to your community today? Our FCA leadership team spent this Giving Tuesday using their lunch hour to serve meals at Gateway Rescue Mission.
Mrs. Lake's art classes are doing an awesome job on their Medieval Illuminated Manuscript projects. We are looking forward to seeing their creativity!
The k4 Thanksgiving program is always one of our favorite parts of the fall season!
Mrs. Elkins' 3rd grade class explored the novel Molly's Pilgrim and enjoyed creating their own pilgrim art projects.
