Our elementary teachers helped kick off our new Fruits of the Spirit emphasis with matching t-shirts highlighting each grade's focus:
K3-watermelons for love, K4-lemons for joy, K5-apples for peace, 1st-strawberries for patience , 2nd grapes for self-control, 3rd-bananas for goodness/generosity, 4th-pear for faithfulness, 5th-peach for kindness , and 6th-lime for gentleness. Our emphasis is based on Galatians 5:22. "For the fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, and patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
